Erie Arts and Culture's annual Ethnic Market Tours offer an insider’s look at some of Erie’s ethnic markets owned by New Americans. These tours are led by local refugees, providing a unique perspective and enriching experience.
Our guides will introduce you to a handful of local businesses—some established, some new—that showcase the rich cultural diversity of our city. Learn about the journeys of these entrepreneurs, shop for unique products, and support local businesses while enjoying a rich cultural experience.

Duration: Approximately 2 hours
Locations: Markets such as Almadina Supermarket, Europa Delicatessen, Fadak International Food Market, UK Supermarket, and more!
What to Expect: A mix of short walking and driving, engaging with store owners, learning about their cultures, and the opportunity to shop. Each tour ends at a New American restaurant for those who wish to stay for a meal.

Tours are a mix of walking and driving; participants are welcome to drive to each location if preferred.
The tour will start at a designated meeting point, typically at UK Supermarket (1105 Parade Street, Erie, PA 16503).
Street parking is available, with additional parking at nearby locations.
Each location will be visited for approximately 15 minutes.
Participants will receive a slip of paper showing the next location and an exclusive Refugee Owned Businesses Directory at the end of the tour.
