  • Flexible Participation: Classes are held from 6:30 - 8 PM in Blasco Library’s Room 219 and virtually over Zoom. Register for all six workshops for $100 or for $20 per workshop. Regional Community In-service

Empowering Educators in the Arts

The Regional Community Inservice is an annual event each October designed to bring together visual art and music educators from the region for a day of enriching professional development. This event is a collaboration between Erie Arts and Culture, the Erie Philharmonic, and the Erie Art Museum.

What to Expect:

  • Partnerships with Arts Organizations: Our in-service day is hosted in collaboration with the Erie Philharmonic and the Erie Art Museum. We work together to place teaching artists at two locations, providing a diverse and immersive experience for educators.

  • Professional Development: Attendees will have the opportunity to earn Act 48 credits, enhancing their professional credentials while gaining valuable insights and skills.

  • Engaging Sessions: The in-service includes a variety of learning opportunities throughout the day, with speakers and artists leading talks and projects. Each year, the schedule is crafted to provide fresh and relevant content tailored to the needs of art and music educators.

Join us for a day dedicated to the advancement and support of arts education, where educators can connect, learn, and grow together.
