Asia Ward

Asia Ward is a STEAM artist who collaborates with community members and scientists to create accessible installations that communicate complex systems, such as the power grid, the Anthropocene, and visions of positive futures. Her work spans animatronics, data-driven interactive games, immersive environments, large-scale solar-powered public sculptures, and community-driven projections. She selects mediums that align with the systems she interprets, incorporating photovoltaics, basic circuitry, programmable media, and recycled postindustrial plastic and metal.
